UUCB’S Climate Justice Revival Workshop, September 28, 1pm-5pm, Fireside Room, Full Congregational Event. The entire UU ecosystem is organizing for climate justice action! There’s power in numbers and thousands of UUs around the world from 300 congregations are joining hands for a denominational Climate Justice Revival. Personal Theology: Dr. Win Williams, ‘The Pandemic as a Rite of Initiation and Our Missing Third Step’
9:30-10:30 a.m. In-Person and on Zoom. UUCB Member, Dr. Win Williams, will speak to us on the topic of ‘The Pandemic as a Rite of Initiation and Our Missing Third Step.’ Win's brilliant and delightful discussion will draw on the work of Michael Meade--his teacher and mentor. And engage us in discussion about what we experience when we face Life’s challenges, and how we as a community reintegrate members who have been through these challenges with healing and honoring what those members have experienced i.e. the ‘missing third step’.

9:30 a.m. The Personal Theology program is delighted to have James Baraz, co-founder of Spirit Rock Meditation Center as our speaker on Nov 3, 2024. He is actively working on the upcoming election and understands that the closer we get to election day, the more stress we are feeling. His one-hour talk, "Keeping the Heart Open in Uncertain Times," is designed to help us keep an open heart and develop balance in tough times.
