The mission of the World Peace Committee at UUCB is to promote peace through education, social action, and charitable funding.
We, the members of the World Peace Committee, stand for peace by promoting human rights for all people, rejecting violence as a solution for conflict, and demanding justice as a necessary condition for peace among peoples and nations.
Our work includes providing a forum to facilitate gathering information, sharing and discussing all perspectives, and promoting constructive dialogue.
We also provide a platform for members conducting peace-related action projects supporting our mission.

Currently, the World Peace Committee meets monthly on the 4th Tuesday on Zoom from 7 to 8:30 p.m. pacific. Everyone is welcome. Please email socialjustice@uucb.org and ask to be added to the mailing list to receive Zoom links for meetings.
