Member Rentals Policy
Member Rites of Passage
Use of UUCB spaces for Member Rites of Passage events are free for all members of UUCB. Donations are welcome and appreciated to offset wear and tear on the building and equipment.
UUCB Staff is not always available for these events. If you would like to request staff for your event, please discuss this with the Rentals Coordinator, and let them know. We do ask that you pay for staff time at a rate of $50/hour.
If you do not have staff onsite, there must be a trusted user present for the event.

If you have any other Rites of Passage you wish to celebrate at UUCB, please reach out to the Minister.
Member Rentals
Members can also rent space at the church with a 50% discount on the room(s) for any personal events only. If the event charges admission, is for profit or if you are renting on behalf of another organization, the member discount will not apply.
Member rentals will follow the same process and rules as a typical outside rental.

Calendar Request Process
Please go through your program lead to request your event be listed in the calendar. For information on who to contact, please review the Program Council page.
Childcare Reservation Form for Event Leaders
To request childcare please download and fill out the form Request UUCB Childcare Services – for event leaders and send it to kathryn@uucb.org. You may either print out the form and send it by mail, or send it by email attachment.
Volunteer Opportunity Description (VOD) Form and Examples
- For representatives, chairs and facilitators of any program, committee, or group at UUCB.
- Click HERE to download a Microsoft WORD document that contains a BLANK Volunteer Opportunity Description (VOD) Form.
- Note, There are two VODs, already filled-in, from Membership and Worship Associates that will be below the BLANK VOD to provide examples of how to fill-in the volunteer information.
- Fill in as much information on the BLANK VOD form as you have about your volunteer need.
- Save the filled-in Volunteer Opportunity Description (VOD) form to your computer.
- Attach and email the completed form to membership@uucb.org.
- If you have any issues with downloading the form, email membership@uucb.org to receive the form via email.
