“One Woman, One Vote” is an excellent PBS documentary, to be shown at 7 pm on Sept. 13 in honor of 97 years of Women’s Right to Vote in the United States. It particularly features the work of Unitarians Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony, and Carrie Chapman Catt. Catt turned suffrage organizations into the League of Women Voters as women’s right to vote was achieved in states and then across the nation.
“One Woman, One Vote” runs two hours. We will also have a 10-minute video of Orson Welles playing the great Unitarian Clarence Darrow, in delivering arguments against the death penalty.
