Thanks Be for Trees!

Today we will focus on the vital role that trees play in our ecosystems and our world! Through creative engagement and embodiment, children will learn the purpose of a tree and ways that we can love and support the growth and life of trees. We will also explore the life cycle of a tree through guided meditation.

Today we examined the role that trees play in our ecosystem.

Draw a picture of a tree. Label each part and talk about ways that the various parts of the tree support one another.

Talk a walk or a drive and find your favorite tree. Identify what type of tree it is and any special functions it may have.
