Event Type

Guiding People & Communities to Meaningful Conversations After Loss.
Arik Housley—father, husband, bestselling author, speaker, and community leader—shares hard-won lessons in finding resilience after tragedy.

Join Arik as he explores how we can connect, communicate, and grow together after grief.

Inspired by the heartbreak of losing his daughter Alaina, Arik shares lessons in resilience with grace and humor.

As we look back on our lives and ahead to the future, how do we honor our losses without being defined by them? This workshop explores the shift from living in grief to living with it—integrating our past heartbreaks into a narrative of strength and grace. We will focus on the sacredness of the present moment and how to maintain deep, empathetic connections with our loved ones. We’ll also share practical wisdom on “what to say when you don’t know what to say,” helping us all speak to one another with more heart and clarity during life’s most significant transitions.

USE YOUR MOMENTS
Life is not promised, learn to be present and appreciate every minute possible.

UNDERSTANDING TOGETHER
Allowing vulnerability for yourself and others to create space and positivity through sitting with people in their grief.

WORD SEARCHING
Learning how to speak with empathy rather than sympathy in the hard moments will build connection.
