10 am – 2 pm Christmas Eve Open House
In Person – Candle Lighting and Sensory Retreat. We are modifying our beloved and awe-filled candle lighting tradition for Christmas Eve. Come to UUCB throughout the day on Christmas Eve to light your candle in the Sanctuary and stay for a mini sensory retreat with music, a “bonfire”, labyrinth*, and crafts for our partner church.  Please dress warmly.

*Winter Solstice Labyrinth
Social Hall – Created by Carol Carlisle and Jim Acock, the solstice labyrinth is a “walking meditation” where we walk into the center carrying our burdens, then stand still. There we let fly our cares and worries into the darkness and then take the serpentine walk out lighter and symbolically lit by the returning sun. Come experience this beautiful work of love all week.
