The Climate Justice Committee is excited to be helping Tiny Village Spirit (TVS) on Saturday, June 20, put plants in large pots to green the TVS site for the upcoming move in of unhoused youth. The CJC has used some of our funds to help TVS buy plants and soil, so we’re especially looking forward to providing some hands-on assistance, too. We welcome everyone from the congregation to join us. The work party will start at 10am and generally runs through the mid-afternoon, and everyone can come for whatever amount of time works for them. We’ll find ways for everyone to help, regardless of age or fitness.
The location is at 2200 Bissell Avenue, Richmond, right off Macdonald Avenue.
