“What’s going to happen? Will everything be ok? What can I do?”  One thing that you can do is to attend this free, Active Hope Workshop called “Moving Forward in Uncertain Times.” Conducted on ZOOM, this hope-filled workshop will be led by
Verne McArthur, brother of UUCB member, Kay McArthur.  Verne is a UU, activist, and workshop leader trained by Joanna Macy and trained in Macy’s outstanding teachings on the “Work that Reconnects.”

Verne uses a participatory approach in this workshop and will develop a powerful framework for understanding the challenges we face, tools for dealing with our feelings in this challenging time, and a sense of effectiveness in helping build a more sustainable and humane world.

In the workshop, there will be adequate time for guided meditations, stimulating ‘open sentence’ prompts, breakout rooms to share more deeply, and music!!

REGISTER by emailing: adulted@uucb.org.
This workshop is sponsored by UUCB’s Adult Education/Exploration program supported by member, Lonnie Moseley and Heaven Walker, Director of Family Ministry.
