1) “The Future Is Peace”: Maoz Inon & Aziz Abu Sarah on Israelis and Palestinians Working Together
Aziz Abu Sarah and Maoz Inon discovered each other right after October 7th. Aziz, whose brother died from beatings in an Israeli military prison, sent a letter of condolence to Maoz, whose parents died in the Hamas assault. Their improbable friendship blossomed into a journey of reconciliation chronicled in their recent co-authored book, The Future is Peace: A Shared Journey Across the Holy Land.

3) August 2, 2026—The Media Literacy Workshop, Rani Sanghera
As part of the discussion of Palestinian and Israeli relationship, the “Media Literacy Workshop” on August 2nd will be facilitated in-person in the Fireside Room by Rani Sanghera, member of Albany El Cerrito for Palestine. The conversation will center on media literacy as it relates to Palestine and current events, supported by an original zine (provided to each audience member) and an analysis of compiled news headlines.
