Dear UUCB Family,

We’ve had a date change for the Social Justice Council (SJC) meeting that will honor our senior graduates in the “Congrats to Grads” ceremony from July 8 to July 15, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom (Zoom link sent later). An important Board meeting was moved to July 8th and so our SJC meeting is moving to July 15, 2026.

The “Congrats To Grads” portion of the meeting will be 35 minutes until 7:35 p.m. and then the regular SJC Board meeting will commence.  Feel free to stay for the SJC meeting or to sign off.

Thank you to all who donated monies to our five “Congrats to Grads” seniors.  If you would like to support our graduates both financially and moral support, see the end of this page for Ways to Donate to Congrats to Grads.

Our donations are for the little things that the seniors want or need. Past “Congrats to Grads” seniors have expressed their delight and surprise that the congregation was sending them off with a gift.

I hope to raise $2500.00 to give each of the seniors $500.  So if you’re able to give the seniors a little “something something” (as the kids say), it will be appreciated.

Please remember that congratulating, honoring and supporting our graduates doesn’t have to only be financial. A card with your send-off thoughts sent to the church, or an email wishing them the best, would be wonderful moral support for them.

Email me (lonniemoseley@hotmail.com) and I’ll forward your email to the graduates.
Thank you always!
Lonnie
Member of the Social Justice Council and “Congrats to Grads” chairperson.

Land Acknowledgment

We acknowledge that this church occupies land in Huchiun in the unceded territory of the Chochenyo-speaking Ohlone people.  May we have the humility and courage to do our part to restore what has been broken and the wisdom to live into a new solidarity with Indigenous communities and the earth.
