Parenting is a rewarding and sometimes grueling spiritual practice. We have created a Parents Discussion Group to celebrate together the joys and grow through the challenges of raising children.
The Parent Discussion Group meets the first and third Sunday morning of every month at 9:30 am before the service, and is open to parents and grandparents at all stages of the parenting journey.
Facilitated by parents from our congregation, each session discusses a different topic, usually announced ahead of time. Topics are chosen by the group, and a date is set for each one. However, flexibility is important when discussing challenges, so topics may change as the needs arise.
Childcare is available during this time to give parents the opportunity to fully focus on the discussion.
