UUCB does outstanding work each year to survey the Congregation for non-profit organizations in Alameda and Contra Costa County that would benefit from donations from our congregation.  On December 11, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. ON ZOOM, at the Social Justice Council meeting, our Congregation will hear presentations from the organizations that were nominated. Chairperson, Natalie Campbell, calls each nominee and invites them to tell us about their organization.  We then VOTE immediately for twelve organizations–each receiving their own month of the year to receive HALF the plate donations that are offered each Sunday.

Now more than ever, we need community and we need to support those organizations who will take on even more work in the next 4 years.

Please attend this once a year Social Justice Council GOOD NEIGHBOR PRESENTATIONS and vote for organizations to be Good Neighbor Recipients in 2025.
