You Are Invited: Autumnal Equinox Ritual with the Mist Tree Moon Circle
All are welcome to join the Mist Tree Moon Circle for our autumnal equinox ritual on Sunday, September 21 at 3:00 p.m. at UUCB.
Please bring an item for our shared altar that represents a harvest in your life—something you wish to celebrate and give thanks for (examples: a photo, amulet, or drawing). Any and all who are willing will be invited to share a few words about their harvest item. You may also bring flowers, fruits, grains, or seed pods to honor the season’s abundance. Together, we will give thanks for what we have gathered this year, turn the Wheel of the Year, and draw strength for the months ahead.
The Mist Tree Moon Circle meets quarterly on the third Sunday, 7:00 p.m., September through June. We hold ritual celebrations of the seventh UU principle, honoring the interdependent web and the sacred circle of life. This is an eco-feminist, Goddess-centered circle, born in 1995 out of the UU curriculum Rise Up and Call Her Name: A Woman-Honoring Journey into Global Earth-Based Spiritualities. We gather to experience mystery, renewal, and connection with the forces that create and uphold life.
