What does it mean to live on stolen Indigenous land in the 21st century?
How can supporting Indigenous women-led work be part of the answer?
Entanglement, a collaborative artist’s book created by two women of white European ancestry, reckons with these questions. While the stories in Entanglement are about the town of Kensington, CA located in Lisjan Nation territory, the inquiry is relevant to non-Indigenous settlers living anywhere on Turtle Island. In this intimate and interactive program, Entanglement’s authors will talk about the purpose and process of developing the book, and offer different ways to explore its themes while being held in community.
