We will gather on Sunday, February 22 after the worship service for our annual Awards, Stewardship, and Election Congregational Meeting. The meeting will start in the sanctuary at approximately 12:45 p.m.
At this meeting we will:
· Honor Flaming Chalice Award recipients Cynthia Greenleaf, Phil Maynard, Pier Sun Ho, and Sheila Tarbet. These members have given generously of their time and talent to UUCB.
· Recognize and appreciate our staff.
· Learn of our progress and plans to support the church financially from our Stewardship team.
· Hear from the Discernment Task Force on progress in working through the results of the recent vote on Freestone.
· Receive an update on the activities and plans of our Social Justice Council.
· Install our new Board of Trustees.
Before February 22, please cast your vote for the candidates for 3 three-year terms on the Board of Trustees. The candidates are: David Rosales (incumbent), Ryan Devine, and Karin Werner. The link for electronic voting appears at the end of this letter.
The new Board will be installed at the end of the meeting after we give our thanks to the outgoing Board members Kay Fairwell (yours truly), and Helen Tinsley-Jones.
