Easter Dance Workshop

Wouldn’t it feel good to move your body a bit more? To notice the places that you are carrying tension and breathe through those, elongate and and find some release? Might it feel good to find a sense of creative collaboration and play that nourishes your spirit? 

Join dance artists Sarah Bush & KJ Dahlaw for a movement workshop for all ages and all bodies on Saturday April 4, 2026 from 2-5 pm.

Workshop is free to attend. Donations to SBDP & UUCB also welcomed. 

Participants will be invited to present a movement piece in the 11am Easter service the following day. 

Wear comfy clothes, socks, shoes, or bare feet.

Sarah & KJ will lead participants through movement prompts to help folks tend to their body and to create a movement piece that feels good for each individual and for the group.

Sarah Bush is a preacher’s kid and grew up dancing in Unitarian Universalist worship services. She has participated in Praise Dance offerings with her friend and mentor Corey Action at Love Center Ministries. Sarah loves creating dance for specific occasions and varied environments, including: churches, nightclubs, parks and stages. She is a professional dancer, choreographer, teacher, facilitator, and curator, and founded Sarah Bush Dance Project in 2007. www.sarahbushdance.com
