Come sing public witness songs and learn
- how to be loud without burning your voice out
- how to maintain a calm, open-hearted presence, even when you’re singing or speaking in public
Protest songs are easy to learn – no prior experience required. Singing both protest/witness and hymn-like songs and learning how to use the body to support the voice; finding how to do that with a grounded, open-hearted presence/ All with the goal of building the physical and emotional capacity required for public witness. Everyone is welcome! Not just those interested in public witness “out in the world.”
Michèle Voillequé, a UUCB Musician-At-Large, will be teaching and leading. Visit mvmusik.com to learn more about her work.
