Rev. Marcus Liefert
We end our worship series at the table with a cornbread communion and celebration of our three sisters garden. As we hold our inheritance of colonialism’s horrors alongside our vision of a planet renewed and a people transformed, we ask how we learn to live with an abundant spirit even in times of scarcity. We celebrate refugia, the pockets of life that survive amidst destruction. Perhaps the world is depending on us to cherish our common life, to savor “the last sweet bite.”
