SUMMARY:Refugia
DESCRIPTION:Rev. Marcus Liefert\n\nWe end our worship series at the table w
ith a cornbread communion and celebration of our three sisters garden. As
we hold our inheritance of colonialism's horrors alongside our vision of a
planet renewed and a people transformed\, we ask how we learn to live wit
h an abundant spirit even in times of scarcity. We celebrate refugia\, the
pockets of life that survive amidst destruction. Perhaps the world is dep
ending on us to cherish our common life\, to savor "the last sweet bite."
