Alice Yeager,  A Lifelong U.U. Explores the Mystical in Dedication to Self Discovery.

Alice Yeager shares her spiritual journey beginning with her family’s history attending the 1st Unitarian Church of Baltimore in Maryland.  Alice will describe how being “dedicated” in a Unitarian church ceremony as a baby affected her lifelong spiritual path.  As a teenager her Unitarian Universalist spiritual explorations included studying the origins of the various world religions and the diversity of spiritual faith practices globally.

As an adult in her late 30’s she began also exploring mystical experiences causing her spiritual path to have a dramatic unexpected shift.  At the invitation of a friend she attended a series of presentations by someone channeling messages from other worldly spiritual realms.  That exploration began a series of highly synchronistic events leading up to her own dramatic sudden psychic opening on August 1st, 1987.  On that day she experienced all five “clair” senses as apparently latent until then, suddenly becoming heightened multi-sensory psychic abilities, i.e. clairvoyance (visual), clairsentience (physical sensations), clairaudience (auditory), clairscentist (smells) and clairgustance (tastes).

Alice later learned that the first week of August in 1987 was considered an astrological event called the “Harmonic Convergence”.  At the time she was not well versed in astrology nor aware of any unusual planetary alignment events. In the years since she has learned of others who also experienced psychic openings that same week. Over the decades since, Alice has continued to have numerous mystical experiences and further develop her multi-sensory clair abilities as a psychic medium. These have included out-of-body experiences, past life memories, interactive communications with non-physical spiritual teachers, guides and those who have passed from this world.

Alice and her husband Fred Hawker, have attended the U.U. Church of Annapolis in Maryland since the early 1970’s.  They are both dedicated long time A Course in Miracles students and have hosted a weekly ACIM study group for over twenty years. They currently also sponsor the “Mystic Muses” speakers programs as an affiliate of the U.U. Psi Symposium. The U.U. Psi Symposium origins date back to the 1960’s exploring varied spiritual topics including; mystical experiences, psychic phenomena, miracles, dreams, mediation and reincarnation.

Land Acknowledgment

We acknowledge that this church occupies land in Huchiun in the unceded territory of the Chochenyo-speaking Ohlone people.  May we have the humility and courage to do our part to restore what has been broken and the wisdom to live into a new solidarity with Indigenous communities and the earth.
