About the Monthly Vigils:

These vigils were started  by the Interfaith Movement for Human Integrity (IM4HI) and the East Bay Interfaith Immigration Coalition.  IM4HI envisions a world where every human person is valued as sacred across all borders; geographic and those that divide us in our minds and hearts. These vigils began in April of 2011 and have continued on a monthly basis to draw physical presence, prayer, consciousness and action about the families impacted by the immigration detentions taking place there.  Each month a different faith group leads the vigil in their own faith tradition.
