Presenter Bios
Brett DeSchepper
Dr. Brett DeSchepper is an entrepreneurial leader who builds high-engagement cultures through stakeholder alignment and higher purpose. He founded iHomefinder, a real estate SaaS company, in 1997 and grew it into a multimillion-dollar business with a successful exit. He then led Think Now, a research startup that secured $7.2 million in NIH funding to build a digital therapeutic integrating neuroscience and learning science to treat ADHD.
Brett earned his Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from UC Berkeley, where he researched the cognitive neuroscience mechanisms of attention and published his findings in top academic journals. He holds a B.S. in Computer & Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Tim Kelley
Tim Kelley is the global expert on purpose. He works with top leaders in many fields and countries to redesign and evolve society. Tim has trained over 1000 consultants, therapists and coaches in his methods. He is the author of True Purpose and the best-selling coauthor of three other books. His methodologies have been featured internationally in magazines, newspapers and on television.
Tim has worked with top leaders and executive teams from such companies as Alibaba, ING, Oracle, Nabisco and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He has coached and trained business, military and religious leaders, as well as members of parliament, government ministers, and three presidential candidates. He is an expert in self-organizing systems and has found the higher purpose of dozens of companies and two countries.
Tim is also a certified Conscious Capitalism consultant and led the Conscious Capitalism Consulting Certification Program for five years. He is a retired Navy commanding officer, leading an ammunition handling detachment, a submarine repair unit, and amphibious assault craft. Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from MIT.
