Getting to UUCB without a car is easy, using the #7 AC Transit bus. The #7 now runs on Sundays as well as weekdays.
The #7 buses run all day Monday to Friday between Emerville and El Cerrito del Norte BART via downtown Berkeley, stopping near the church at Arlington Boulevard and Moeser. Make sure you check the schedule on the AC Transit #7 site or call 511.
Whether you’re coming from points south or north, get off at Moeser Lane. Walk up Terrace Lane to Craft Avenue. Carefully walk through the parking lot, or pass our driveway and take the dirt path up to the sanctuary.
Driving Directions
From San Pablo Avenue, El Cerrito
From San Pablo Avenue, head east on Moeser Lane. Continue on Moeser Lane in the left hand lane about a 1 ½ mile drive up a very steep hill. Moeser Lane ends at Arlington Boulevard which will be your first stop sign. (There are tall, electrical towers and a sign for the “Unitarian Church” at this intersection.) Proceed across Arlington Boulevard (becomes Terrace on east side of Arlington). Follow Terrace for one short block and take the first right on Craft, which is a dead-end street. Look for a large sign for the church and turn left into the driveway. Follow the drive up the hill on until you come to the parking lot by the main entrance to the church.
From the Kensington “village” on Arlington Avenue
Drive north on Arlington less than a mile. Turn right on Cowper Avenue (at the miniature lighthouse) and take the third left onto Lawson Road, which will lead you right into the main church parking lot.
Please drive slowly (15 mph) as you approach the church.
