Our vibrant family community is supportive, soulful and welcoming.  We are LGBT and straight together, partnered and single, come from a wide range of religious backgrounds, and are every color of the human rainbow.  Together we create a unique spiritual community where we share and explore our paths as parents, partners and families.

Worshipping Together: At the core of our community is worship, a time to gather to share story, song, praise and presence among the generations.  On Sundays at the 11:00 am service we begin with families together in the sanctuary, then, after a Time for All Ages, children and youth leave for religious education activities.  This season there are two special All Ages worship services on Sept 13 and Oct 25.  Plus the Christmas Eve Family Worship on Dec. 24 at 5 pm.

Parents Activities: We offer parents a Discussion Circle, a Parent Support Group and Parent Night Out.  Please consult our web site www.uucb.org for more details.

Community Dinner and Worship: Family night at the weekly church dinner is on the first Wednesday of the month.  We gather for socializing at 5:30 pm, followed by a yummy catered meal, then gather for vespers worship at 7 pm.

Service and Justice Work: We have regular opportunities for our families to live out their values.  Central projects this season are serving meals at a shelter for homeless families, and the Bring Your Weight in Food Drive on Nov 15.

Family Retreats: Twice per year families gather at the Freestone Retreat Center for a casual weekend full of fun.
