Let’s Keep the Fun in FUNdraising!

Those great parties and other activities we auction off are the heart of our community’s social life and a fun way to support the church. After many years of yeoman service as FUNdraiser–in–Chief, Ann Harlow has retired, but with your help Jane Lundin and Ellen Fisher will keep the tradition alive.

What can you do? Offer an event, maybe like one of these:

  • Dining for dollars — Theme dinner, picnic in the park, champagne brunch, English tea, crab feed—a cooking class where you eat what you’ve made—wine tasting, soup delivered once a month in memory of Jean Lipton, cookies, produce from your garden….
  • Fun for families — A pool party or BBQ; your kids’ favorite outing
  • Sample your skill — Offer a massage, office organizing, personal training, improv workshop, graphic design, gardening; maybe find a client
  • Docent for a day – Tour a museum or famous building where you can add extra info; share your favorite piece of the outdoors
  • Craft classes – Share your expertise and send your guests home with a small finished project and maybe a new hobby

Team up with friends to divide the work and double the fun.

You’ll find sign–up forms in the atrium, or send an email with the details of your event to Jane Lundin.  We need your name and contact info, event date, minimum price and the number of guests you can handle, plus a short but enticing description of what you’re offering.
