You are invited to attend Jane Eisenstark’s Celebration of Life on Sunday, July 28th, at 1pm in the Fireside Room.
This would have been Jane’s 80th birthday.

When Jane joined UUCB, she became very engaged in the Social Justice Council and other activities under that umbrella.
She worked on the Tiny Homes project that was initiated by Youth Spirit Artworks, and would put on her hard hat because she really went to work!
Jane was especially instrumental along with Julia Rogers in forming the WOWS group:  (now) Working to Overcome White Supremacy.
She was also a very warm, welcoming person to newcomers within the UUCB community.

There were two other groups that were very important to Jane:  Kol Hadash and her OLLI group, Our Best Selves. 
The people who made community were the reason Jane joined them.
