Addressing the Climate Crisis through Awakening the Dreamer Symposium
Our Social Justice Committee presents Pachamama Alliance’s inspiring and interactive Awakening the Dreamer Symposium. We will renew our deep appreciation for the interdependent web of life and each other, inspiring commitments to wise actions within our communities to address the climate crisis, environmental devastation, and injustice. All community members high school age and older are invited.
The event is free, and your generous donations will help to keep it free. Doors open at 11:30, and we ask that you come no later than noon, so we can all be in our seats ready to begin shortly after noon. The program runs until about 4. We are inviting local groups working on climate change and related issues to staff tables, and volunteers will be available to talk with people and share their materials before the program, during a short break, and afterwards until close to 4:30. We’ll have healthy snacks available, but you may want to have an early lunch before you come. We encourage you to bring a water bottle. For more information and to enroll go here.
