Saturday April 16, the UUCB choir Luminescence will join with the choir of the First UU Church of San Francisco and the Kensington Symphony Orchestra to present an evening of beautiful French music.

Poulenc’s Gloria and Saint-Saens’ Carnival of the Animals lead a program, a fundraiser for the church, that also features works by DuParc, Bizet and Berlioz, and a song from Leonard Bernstein’s musical version of Voltaire’s Candide.

Tickets are available at Brown Paper Tickets or at the door. $20/$15 student.
