11 am   This is an inspirational “song and story” presentation about a determined young family of five living in a Bangladesh refugee camp in the 1990s. The narrative, based on a true story, follows the efforts of one father, Tuhin, who, having escaped the encampment alone to freedom in America, petitions to immigrate his family into the United States. Our musical group, Soul Rising, will provide contemporary, secular songs to complement and amplify each event in the narrative as it occurs. This is a story of love triumphant.
