The group will discuss a story of survival and lessons learned, as a scientist endures a stroke.

Youth sessions explore similar themes as the morning’s sermon: “A Stroke of Insight”. Jill Bolte Taylor was a neuro-anatomist who had the rare, fascinating and frightening experience of being able to recognize what was happening to her – in real time – as a sudden stroke began disabling her neuro-anatomical functioning. This is her story of survival and the lessons she has to pass on to those she interacted with in her time of great need.
