Creativity in Nature

This session looks at creativity in the web of life, exploring the idea that humans are not the only creatures that exhibit an urge to create. Children engage creativity through activity and art. Children will also explore ways that nature creates and sustains itself and ways that we can do the same.

Take Home

Today we explored creativity in nature. Make art together and examine the ways that creativity is used in this process. How do your emotions change while creating? How does your body feel? Listen to a song and discuss the ways that harmonies work together and how people use creativity to make wonderful musical works. Observe an animal in nature (or in your home!), how is this animal being creative to get its needs met?
