What if our Unitarian Universalist theology interdependence could lead us to transform our society’s understanding of conflict and repair?

Explore how we can live out our faith by mending the bonds that connect us, practicing accountability with compassion, and fostering healing within our communities. In this workshop, we’ll look at what it takes to move from a paradigm of right and wrong to one of responsibility and care for how we impact and are impacted by one another and the world.

During the three-hour workshop participants will:

  • Engage and play together with an innovative experience of a restorative and transformative justice paradigm

  • Practice with simple tools to support each of us in our personal reactions to stress and conflict

  • Imagine ways that a restorative and transformative approach to conflict, grounded in UU values, could shift our personal and community approaches to conflict and harm

October 5, 10am-1pm at UUCB

Participants will be invited to participate in an ongoing learning circle for resourcing restorative practices in our congregation.
