DESCRIPTION:Water Communion is a unique Unitarian Universalist (UU) ritual 
 celebrated at the start of the church year in late summer or early fall. I
 t symbolizes the coming together of the community after a time apart durin
 g the summer months.\nParticipants bring small amounts of water from a pla
 ce that holds personal significance—such as from a vacation\, a local ri
 ver\, or even their home tap. During the service\, these waters are combin
 ed into a communal bowl\, symbolizing the coming together of individual ex
 periences into one shared spiritual journey.\nOur Board invites everyone f
 or a light lunch after the service to celebrate the beginning of the churc
 h year!\n
