DESCRIPTION:Dr. Markate Daly has a PhD in Ethics from the University of Wis
 consin. She’s a long-time active member of UUCB. Recent debates on the a
 bortion issue pit the pro-choice view\, framed in the language of personal
  rights and interests\, against the pro-life groups\, framed in moral term
 s. This framing distorts the real balance of moral versus self-interested 
 motives about the legality of abortion services.  My objective here is to
  show the moral case for continuing to support abortion rights while showi
 ng the Faustian bargain fundamentalist Christians have made with the corpo
