What does it mean to be in relationship with one another and the world? In this session we will discuss and explore our first principle examining what it means to believe that each and every person is important. Through creative engagement we will look at the ways that we respect our community and are respected by it.

Explore the concept of respect by engaging:

• Why some people are disrespectful and how this hurts others.

• Why everyone is important.

• The ways in which we each know that we are important and respected.

Creative engagement is key! Taking a walk or engaging in any kind of shared activity (coloring, reading, exercise) while exploring what it means to treat ourselves and one another with respect and dignity will help integrate our principles in lived experience.
