The Winter Solstice is a time to journey inward and reflect on the lessons, joys, and sorrows of the last year. It’s also a celebration of the light and darkness in each of us. Join us for a service of readings, songs, stillness, and ritual.

Bring cookies, drinks, and other nourishing snacks to share. 

Winter Solstice Celebration at UUCB

Join us at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Berkeley for a magical Winter Solstice Celebration on Saturday, December 21, 2024.

Schedule of Events:

• 4:00 PM: Fire Ritual led by Rev. Marcus
  Reflect and release as we burn what no longer serves us.

Enjoy music, warmth around the firepit, and community sharing.

• 4:54 PM: Sunset
• Evening Activities:
  • Walk the enchanting Tinsel Labyrinth in the social hall.
  • Indulge in hot beverages (mulled wine and cider) and holiday treats.
  • Experience face painting and family-friendly activities.

What to Bring:

• Holiday treats to share with the community.
• Your hopes, intentions, and anything you wish to release for the fire ritual.
