Thursday Evening Worship

Our mid-week worship opportunity is offered at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evenings in the Fireside Room with one of our co-ministers or community ministers leading the service. Come enter the quiet space of our beautiful small chapel and breathe softly. Take twenty minutes to hold yourself in silence, listen to sacred music and reflect. Let yourself be quieted, nourished and refreshed in the midst of your beloved community.

2009-2010 Schedule

First Thursday: Led by Rev. Chris Holton Jablonski. Beginning May 6, Rev. Sonya Sukalski will lead First Thursday Worship until Chris returns from paternity leave.

Second Thursday: Led by Revs. Bill and Barbara Hamilton-Holway, followed by a 7:30 p.m. program reflecting on the monthly theological theme.

Third Thursday: Led by Rev. Cathleen Cox, Old Stories – New Perspectives. Ever consider that Eve and the serpent might be the real heroes of the Garden of Eden story?  We’ll undertake a thought provoking—and heretical—exploration of what we can glean about the challenges and rewards of community building from some of the stories of the Hebrew Bible—one of the great living records of community in the making!

Fourth Thursday: led by Rev. Jane Ramsey

Fifth Thursday: Led by one of our chaplains or lay leaders
