The Jewish Passover celebrates the values of freedom, striving against oppression, enhancing liberty for all, and the bringing together of diverse people. We share the story of the liberation of the ancient Hebrews from slavery in Egypt, and appreciate Judaism’s historic roots as part of our own UU tradition.

UUCB Passover will be on Thursday, April 5th starting at 5:30 in the Social Hall. Please come early to choose your table and drop your pot luck items on your own table or the buffet table.

Sign up Sunday March 25 in the Atrium at the Passover sign before or after the Service. 25 people have already signed up and we’re planning for 50. If you won’t be at UUCB on March 25th to RSVP, email membership@uucb.org to RSVP and what your pot luck item will be (we need wine for your table, or soft drinks, cooked Veggie dish, Unleavened dessert (e.g., fruit or macaroons). Also please bring an appetizer for your own table to nosh on before the Passover service (that will you sustain you until dinner is served).

WE NOW HAVE 50 RESERVATIONS, SO THE RESERVATIONS ARE FULL.  CALL MARIN FISCHER (SEE BELOW) IF YOU WISH TO BE PUT ON THE WAITING LIST.

If you have any questions, call Marin Fischer (510)798-3551 or Barbara Weisman (510)234-1017 or Jane Eisenstark (617)759-4320.
