New Friends

Today we will explore the ways that friendships are rooted in and surrounded by love. We will continue to explore the first UU principle of inherent worth and dignity and how each person is unique and valuable. We will also identify the gifts of new friends and expand the theme Love Surrounds Us to those who we do not know. We will use creative engagement to explore how we are all alike, connect with new friends in their immediate surroundings, and discover ways we show others that they are important.

Take Home

Extend and explore together by finding ways that nature cooperates although it contains a variety of elements. Take a walk or watch a documentary about the various moving parts in our world. Find ways to engage one another in ideas and thoughts about how we all can work together and celebrate our differences.

Consider talking about and communicating ways that we are all the same and ways that people can be different. How does this align with our UU principles?
