12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

This is the final event in our Immigration Justice awareness-raising cycle before the congregation votes on becoming a Sanctuary Church at the Congregational Meeting on February 11. It will feature Miriam Noriega of the East Bay Interfaith Immigration Coalition (EBIIC), the focal point group for immigration justice work from a faith perspective in the East Bay. Noriega plans to bring a guest who will speak from their personal experience of living under the severe restrictions and complications of our broken immigration system. Amy Miles, a member of our congregation, will speak of her own form of sanctuary work with her students and local community.
